Important information

Hello everyone,

I came across something very interesting and important, thought of sharing it with you guys too 🙂

Have you ever heard of LPG gas cylinder’s expiry date..? Most of us do not know about this. I came to know this today from a Facebook page. Expired cylinders are not safe to use and may cause accidents in this regard. Please be cautious at the time of accepting any LPG cylinders from the vendor.

Well, how to find LPG cylinder’s expiry date..?
Here is how we can check the expiry date of LPG cylinders: On one of the three sides of the stems of the cylinders, the expiry date is coded alphanumerically as follows

A or B or C or D and some two digit number following this e.g. D06

The alphabets stands for quarters.
-A for march (1st quarter)
-B for June (2nd quarter)
-C for September (3rd quarter)
-D for December (4th quarter)

The digit stands for the year till it is valid.
Hence D06 would mean December qtr of 2006
